      Hi,

      I’m from Belgium and was on my way back home from family in Arbrå when the gearbox on my ’99 p38 4.6 gave out. The fluid was milky brown, managed to replace about 3 litres but that hasn’t fixed the problem sadly. Hoping a full flush might work.
      Can someone recommend a workshop near Uppsala that I could get the car towed to?

        I would suggest that you get in contact with GroundZero4WD in Altuna not far from Uppsala. And also, put up a post on the Facebook group also. Svensk Land Rover Klubb.

          Hi Niclas,

          Thanks for the advice, I had come across him through Google and have had contact. He’s sadly not at the workshop until the 7th, but did help me diagnose it as most likely the oil pump or torque converter, so not something fixed by a gearbox flush sadly.
          The car is currently on a recovery truck to be stored at a friend’s place near GroundZero4WD, and we’ll see from there 🙂
