Lacking a garage is a big pain for sure. I have a friend who kindly lets me use his amazing garage, but for job not longer than 2 days really. To be honest it cost a lot to have the work done but taking the gearbox out and changing the flywheel and clutch were beyond my skill set and my age : )
I have learnt so much during the process of tracking this leak down, and I really do appreciate all the useful advice and encouragement you guys gave me. I was lacking motivation to drop the sump and check the oil pump bolt but I did thanks to you guys. Turns out the bolt was lose and not loctited…

I cant imagine working on other peoples Land Rovers, mine is being a full time job. I brought her in Oct 2020 and think I will need another 3 mths to get her to a good standard of maintenance… Funny its always the small jobs that become big ones…
