Thank you for the recommendations and offer Larzon. I truly appreciate it.
Hedins Bil told me "we do not stock parts for a 1990 Range Rover and our service techs do not work on such old cars." They referred me to Bilcenter in Norkoping, but when I called Bilcenter said they had little experience with and no parts for the RRC.
I took the truck to Mekonomen. Waste of 400 SEK. They put it on the lift, looked at it, then told me that it would cost 8 hours of labor to "drop the gearbox to change the slave cylinder" at which point I politely asked them to put my truck back together and thanked them for their diagnosis.
Didn’t try Meca. Decided instead to put the car in storage until I come back to Sweden in June. Too much hassle, it’s the holidays, am only here for a couple weeks, and I need to find a decent Land Rover mechanic between now and June to make the truck road-worthy. Frustrating. I didn’t expect it to be so hard to find an experienced Land Rover shop/mechanic in Sweden. <sigh>
