First of all… your Defender looks gorgeous!!! =D And surely looks ’at home’ in deep snow.
The only reason I was considering studless tyres is due to almost 150km daily highway-driving for work, the sound and wear this causes on studded tyres. I work in the city but live outside in the country side which you can see in the image attached – uphill climb on an icy/snowy path every winter. The very reason I have always had studded tyres. Pretty sure now that I will continue with studded on RRS too.
